Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
  • Orders are not confirmed until payment is received in full.
  • We reserve the right to delay, refuse, or cancel any order for any reason, including product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.
  • Custom-cut or made-to-order glass panels are subject to availability and price confirmation.

2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

  • We use our own and trusted carriers for domestic shipping.
  • Shipping method is chosen at our discretion unless otherwise specified.
  • Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed.
  • Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address also any driveway that cannot be easily accessible by a 26 foot vehicle will need to be left at the end of the driveway on the main road on a flat surface

3. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping fees calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.
  • Customers responsible for all shipping fees, duties, and taxes.
  • Free shipping promotions apply only to standard shipping and may exclude custom or oversized items.
  • Additional fees may apply for deliveries to rural, remote, or cottage locations due to carrier surcharges or special handling requirements.

4. Risk of Loss

  • Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon carrier pickup or delivery, whichever occurs first.
  • Insurance is strongly recommended, especially for glass products.
  • Claims must be reported to both the carrier and Glass Rail North America Inc. within 24 hours of delivery.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other circumstances beyond our control.

5. Driveway Entrance Delivery Only

  • Deliveries are made to the driveway entrance only; drivers are not responsible for moving items beyond the driveway normally within 6 feet of tailgate or trailer.
  • Customers must ensure the driveway or delivery area is level, strong, solid, and secure to safely receive the products.
  • Customers are responsible for providing adequate assistance, equipment, and access to move products from the driveway to their desired location.
  • Glass Rail North America Inc. is not responsible for damage, injury, or product instability resulting from delivery to unsafe, uneven, or insecure surfaces.

6. International Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and import regulations in their country.
  • Glass Rail North America Inc. is not responsible for items held or returned by customs.

7. Oversized or Special Items

  • Custom glass panels, spigots, and large hardware may require special handling or freight shipping.
  • Additional charges may apply for oversized items, including delivery to rural or remote locations.
  • Customers must ensure adequate space and professional assistance for safe handling and installation.

8. Delivery Issues

  • All shipments must be inspected upon receipt.
  • Customers must sign for the package if required by the carrier.
  • Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt immediately.
  • Failure to report damage within 24 hours may void liability claims.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Glass Rail North America Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use or installation costs.
  • Liability for shipping-related claims is limited to the original shipping charges paid.
